This is a mostly original gun at
an affordable price. the barrel
has been cut to 22-1/16 inches.
The forearm, barrel bands and
sling swivels are correct
reproductions fabricated by me.
The cleaning rod and brass
cleaning rod extension are also
reproductions. All other parts
including internal and external
parts are original. The main
spring is a correct replacement.
The action works smoothly and
correctly. The stock is
original. A patch box had been
cut into it but it has been
repaired as per the photo.
Serial number 1143 appears on
all major parts. There is no
other lettering other than
serial numbers remaining. Some
of the numbers may have been
freshened (its hard to tell for
sure) but not by me. I
believe this to be a matching
gun. I have owned this gun
for ten years and have used it
as the model for wood and steel
parts fabricated for other guns.
